Dr. Skyler Chu, a San Francisco–based dentist and Alliance for Smiles volunteer, shares his personal journey of growing up with a cleft lip and palate. While he had access to the care and support he needed, his story highlights an important truth: millions of children around the world still lack access to life-changing treatment.
