Emotions ran high in the waiting room this morning.
We had a young mom looking hopeful and at the same time terrified when nurses took her four month old baby boy to the operating room. The same mom was shedding tears of joy a few hours later. See pictures below.
An eleven year boy marching happily to the operating room, smiling all the way, wrapped in his new blanket, a gift from wrap-a-smile
A sixteen year old, who had today’s most complicated surgery, pharyngeal flap along with a lip revision and skin tag removal.
And last but not least a nineteen year old girl who has traveled the farthest to have her badly healed scar fixed, amongst others, for a total of six surgeries.
