Today, after rounds and final discharges, there was a final clinic where the patients could be evaluated a last time before the team heads out. 53 Patients returned and were examined.
Now everything is packed up, and the 5th Alliance for Smiles Mission in Yangon is over.
Some of the team will continue to travel in Myanmar and other places, and the rest will fly to all parts of the USA starting tomorrow. And 83 children will begin a new life with better opportunities for their future in Myanmar.
It’s been an amazing and rewarding experience for all of us, and there will be many more stories to tell.
