One of the most beautiful pieces in our Silent Auction is an oil painting – donated by the artist himself, Alan Phillips (a dear friend of our Executive Director, Alison Healy). They met while studying at Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
Alan Phillips is an accomplished artist and illustrator who finds his inspiration in the beauty of nature and through the movement of the ocean. His art brought him to the most beautiful places on earth from Kaui to Paris and from St. Martin to St. Augustine. His vision is shaped by incredible artists such as Saville and Homer; and he continues to be inspired by Monet, Degas and many more. His immense talent has supported his success throughout his career and you can find more of his work on magazines such as the Tennis Magazine and New York Times.
