I was born in Philadelphia and went to nursing school there. I have lived in California since 1980. I have worked in numerous health care settings as a staff nurse, educator and administrative positions.
I got interested in this type of volunteer work as a young OR nurse. Since then, I have been a member of over 30 International missions around the world. I love this work as it gives me an opportunity to “give back” to the community.
When I am not working, I love to travel as it opens my senses to other cultures and is a learning experience. I also love going to the theatre and the ballet. For “down time”, I go to the gym and enjoy reading.
