Yulla-May Nicolas

Program Coordinator

I was born and raised in Paris and moved to San Francisco in 2008, where I studied Marketing and then graduated from San Francisco State University with an International Relations Bachelor degree. I have worked as an assistant caseworker in the resettlement department with political refugees for a nonprofit organization and then became a visa specialist for an online company, which taught me a lot about diplomacy, foreign politic, cultural exchanges and immigration regulations.

I have traveled a lot around the globe and volunteered as an English teacher in Cambodia which made me realize my love for humanitarian work and social development. I love to travel internationally and discover new cultures, places, and people. My dream was to be part of a real social change that has a direct impact on children’s lives and Alliance for Smiles made that dream come true.
